Our first foray into 48-hour filmmaking in the freakin' LAND o' FILM: Hollywood(land), CA. Y Tu Nana Tambien grew, perhaps unwanted, from a brainstorm session on Friday night and eventually became what you see here. Are we ashamed of what we created? WE WON AWARDS! Hell no we're not ashamed!
Made as part of the 48 Hour Film Project, Y Tu Nana Tambien screened to a sold-out crowd at the historic (and kinda smelly) New Beverly Cinema in Los Angeles, CA. Our film picked up its first award that night as an audience favorite.
At the Best Of screening a few weeks later our film won a second award for the acting of Ms. Erika Godwin.
The required elements were:
Prop: 2 or more potatoes
Character: Ronald or Rhonda Donnelson, Game Host
Line of Dialogue: "Leave it to me. I'm a professional."
