We've had a lot of people ask what the heck this movie is about. Is it some mythical porn film that GadZook Films made in its early days? Heh... no. Like Canned Laughter, this was originally intended to be a sketch on The Night Shift but a good concept should never be wasted. Shot over the Summer of 2001 the film got lost in the jumble of 9/11. When we finally were able to get back to it we realized in our youthful enthusiasm that crucial plot points were missing from the script and our low-budget shooting schedule had left out about 6 pages of story. One day we'll cut together a true trailer for this lost gem... until then, enjoy the trailer a group of high-school kids cut together at a Summer film course in Everett, WA in 2005.

What's the story? Hot Crotch Duggins tells the story of one of the greatest ball players you've probably never, ever heard of. Growing up the son of two coal-miners, Harold Christine Duggins had a dream; to be the best baseball player in the world. One fateful season, that dream was realized.

Capable of hitting a ball consistently into the groin of opposing pitchers, H.C. Duggins had a gift that was unrivaled in the annals of the game. His gift was exploited, used and corrupted - yet the integrity of the man lived on.

With exclusive interviews of his family, friends, supporters and detractors, this documentary seeks to tell the (somewhat) true story of Hot Crotch Duggins.
