Sometimes appearances are not what they seem. In this parody of the wholesome American family commercial, good home cooking and the moms who cook them, often have other things simmering below the surface.

It's gratifying to me to be able to put something together and find all the right pieces to make it work, and bring it under budget. We initially planned for this to be shot on film (16mm) but scratched that idea due to cost. I found the perfect actors through our auditions (and there were a LOT of good actors to choose from!) and the crew was, as usual, superb getting everything together.

We shot this on the Panasonic DVX-100 in 24p mode. I edited using Final Cut Pro.
